What is an integrated droop response system?
An integrated droop response system combines droop detection and response via an adaptive clock. The droop detector will detect droop events in your system logic and signal the adaptive clock to modulate your system frequency to prevent timing or system failures.
Why Integrated vs. Decoupled?
The short answer: total adapt time (detection + response). Tightly coupled systems drive faster total adapt times, which in turn, can further reduce voltage margins or improve system performance.
